I'm bummed. My NOOK has a messed up screen. I called to see about repair, but they can't be repaired. They are only replaced if you have the protection plan. I was a dummy and did not get it. Now I will have to save up and get a new one. The only good thing going my way is that they have dropped the price since I purchased my first one!!!!
UPDATE (July 15): After talking to several people on the nook discussion boards, I found out that sometimes there are defective ink screens with many of the ereaders like NOOK, Kindle, etc. I called Barnes & Noble back and they replaced my NOOK. I had it in 2 days & sent my broken one back!!!! YEAH!!! I am back to reading!
